Actor Namrata Shrestha chopped off her hair and received martial arts training to justify the character in her upcoming movie ‘Xira’.

Much before the movie release date, audiences had applauded Namrata’s looks. There has been a prediction that the movie will rule the box-office, not just because of her action avatar but also a fresh storyline. There are rare cases when Nepali film has a plot based on sports. In the movie, Namrata is playing a character of MMA fighter.

Now after releasing its first look and teaser, the movie has launched its trailer on Wednesday via official YouTube channel HiglightsNepal.

The two-minute-long trailer has unfolded that Namrata is seeking revenge as her husband (Anoop Bikram Shahi) was murdered by a notorious goon.

The trailer looks promising that included the glimpses of romance between Namrata and Anoop, a battle of Namrata as MMA athlete in the arena and many more. 

Besides them, the star casts in the movie also include Promod Agrahari, Srijana Regmi, Raymon Das Shrestha, Suzta Shrestha, and Samrat Magar.

Ashutosh Raj Shrestha has debuted as a director through the movie which is slated to hit the theater on August 23.
