KATHMANDU, June 6: The FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is taking place today. The match will kick off at 9:45 PM (Nepali time) in Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, Nepal suffered a 4-0 defeat in a match held at the UAE's home ground. Despite the setback, the current head coach of the Nepal National Football team expressed confidence that the Nepali team would perform better in today's match against the UAE. In the FIFA rankings, the UAE is ranked 67th, while Nepal holds the 178th position.

The Nepali squad includes goalkeepers Captain Kiran Chemjong, Bishal Sunar, and Abhishek Baral. The defenders are Bimal Pandey, Abhishek Limbu, Ananta Tamang, Bishal Basnet, Chhiring Lama, Saubhagye Rai, and Rohit Chand.
The midfielders for the match are Bharat Khawas, Laken Limbu, Mani Kumar Lama, Manish Dangi, Suman Shrestha, Basanta Jimba, and Aashish Rai. The forwards include Gillespye Jung Karki, Hisub Thapaliya, Ayush Ghalan, and Aashik Babu Chaudhary.
