JAJARKOT, Dec 2: A woman has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing a new born baby here in Jajarkot. 

Kamala BK of Kudu area of Bherimalika Municipality – 13 was handed out the sentence by a bench led by Justice Lila Raj Adhikari for killing her child born of illicit affair with a man. Kamala's husband Raj BK is in Malaysia as a migrant worker. 

Kamala had killed her son on September 22 after giving birth and thrown the body in the river. She was arrested after a complaint was filed by her in-law, Rame Kami. RSS
