BAJURA, June 10: Sarita Rokaya, 24, of Rajali, Badimalika municipality- 3 who was injured after being hit by a falling rock on Sunday has been airlifted and sent to the Nepalgunj-based Kohalpur Medical College.
The rescue was managed with the coordination of local government and initiation of the Far West state government's ministry for internal affairs and law. A rock fell upon her as she was on the way to a river near Rokaya Gaun on Sunday afternoon for a bath.
She was rescued by the Summit Air, ward chair Rajan Rokaya said. It has been reported that the provincial government and the Budhinanda municipality have agreed to bear 50 percent each of her rescue cost. The rescue was possible with the Aerial Rescue for Women Program and so far four have been benefitted from it.
