NAWALPARASI, Sept 7: A woman injured in a bus accident in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) has died.
On Friday night, a bus (Na 7 Kha 2525) heading towards Kawasoti hit seven-year-old Bishal Shrestha and his grandmother Shrimaya Manandhar along the East-West Highway in Baisakhori, Gaindakot Municipality-10 of Bardaghat Susta East.

Seven-year-old Bishal Shrestha from Gaindakot-11 died on the spot as a result of the collision. The boy's grandmother, 55-year-old Shrimaya Manandhar from Syangja, was seriously injured.
Shrimaya, who was critically injured, passed away last night during treatment at Old Medical College in Bharatpur, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Poudel of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).
According to the police, the vehicle involved in the accident and its driver are in police custody.
