CHITWAN, August 30: A 21-year-old man has been charged with beating his 45-year-old mother to death at Mangalpura-15 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
Aashis Darai allegedly tied up his mother Sabita Darai and beat her, leaving the victim severely injured at around 10:00 am today, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
She breathed her last on the way to a hospital for treatment. During the preliminary investigation, it was found that the alleged committed the crime under the influence of alcohol.
He has been detained by the police and the dead body put in the Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem. RSS
