MORANG, June 5: A woman has died after a tractor struck a motorbike on Monday evening at Morang's Rangeli municipality – 8. 

The tractor (Ko 2 Ta 5067) struck the motorbike (Ko 2 Pa 1397) killing its pillion rider Latiya Paswan, 40, of Katahari rural municipality on the spot, according to Area Police Office, Rangeli. 

The tractor supplying sand from Chisang river rammed the bike at Rangeli – Dohamana road stretch. Motorbike rider, Purushottam Risal, 50, sustained minor injuries in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at the Rangeli hospital. 

The Area Police Office, Rangeli has detained the tractor driver and impounded the vehicle for investigation.(RSS)
