As Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor turns 22 on Wednesday, her uncle Anil Kapoor and cousin sister Sonam Kapoor wished the 'Dhadak' star in the sweetest way possible. The birthday girl also got a sweet surprise from her half-sister Anshula Kapoor, which Janhvi shared on her Instagram story.

Anil took to his Instagram account and posted a beautiful picture of the Bollywood newbie along with a heart-warming caption, "Watching you take life on in such a strong & poised way this past year has been inspiring! This is just the beginning of an amazing journey for you & we're all extremely proud of you @janhvikapoor! May you keep following your heart & dream! Happy Birthday!"

The 62-year-old actor will be seen sharing screen space with his niece in Karan Johar's magnum opus 'Takht', which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

Sonam too took to her Instagram account to wish the birthday girl. She dug into the family photo archive and shared a throwback picture which shows a happy Sonam holding baby Janhvi in her lap. "Happy happy birthday baby jannu... all my love baby girl... keep smiling your gorgeous smile.. @janhvikapoor," she captioned the post.

Janhvi also shared pictures of the birthday celebration on her Instagram story and going by the glimpses shared by the actor, it appears like Anshula had planned a sweet surprise for her sister. Janhvi wrote "I love u @anshulakapoor," on a picture which shows a room decorated with beautiful balloons and notes.

She shared another snap giving a closer look at the stunning decoration. Earlier in the day, Janhvi also shared a photo of her father Boney Kapoor with a box of Nutties on her Instagram story and wrote, "Best gift ever."

Sara Ali Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Manish Malhotra too extended birthday wishes for the actor. Reportedly, Janhvi decided to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi with her father and sister Khushi Kapoor a day before her birthday.

Janhvi made her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan's directorial 'Dhadak', which is a remake of Marathi hit film 'Sairat'. She is currently working on a biopic based on Gunjan Saxena, India's first ever woman combat pilot.
