OKHALDHUNGA, May 26: Strong wind has blown away the roof of a school in Okhaldhunga causing losses to the tune of millions of rupees.
Regular classes of Palte Secondary School at Molung Rural Municipality were halted following the incident.
Lakpa Sherpa, the principal of the school, said that they were forced to halt the classes due to the damage caused by the strong wind.
The strong wind blew roofs of new and old buildings of the school. Principal Sherpa said that the strong wind destroyed properties worth Rs 7 million.
