RASUWA, May 7: The wildfire in a forest inside the Langtang National Park has come under control in the morning today.
Ranger at the national park Ramesh Basnet said that the forest fire that broke out at Brabal Bhir area near Dhunche of Gosainkunda Rural Municipality has been brought under control after 22 hours of efforts.
The wildfire had started from near the Trishuli River at Hakubensi. It is said the bushfire destroyed vegetation and wild animals, mostly birds, on about 20 to 25 hectares. RSS
