BARDIA, Oct 22: A man has died after being attacked by a wild elephant in Barbardia-7 of Bardia district. The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Soliram Tharu, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Bardiya, Hikmat Bahadur Bohara.
Tharu was attacked by the elephant when he was out on a morning walk near the East-West Highway. As of late, attacks by wild animals on humans have been increasing in Bardia.
