KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Police on Thursday arrested a woman on the charge of slicing off the penis of her own husband.
The arrested is 26-year-old Santamaya Tamang of Salambutar in Shakharapur Municipality-20.

According to police, Santamaya attacked her husband Kanchhamaya Tamang with a sharp sickle alleging him of keeping extramarital affairs with a woman. The incident took place on Monday.
Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, said Kanchhamaya, who sustained serious injuries to his penis, is undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
