Whitefield, St Xavier's start with wins

KATHMANDU : Whitefield College and St Xavier´s College got off to winning starts in The British College Cup Football Tournament that kicked off on Friday at the Buddhi Bikas Ground, Lagankhel. [break}



Whitefield thrashed the host The British College 6-0. Bibishan KC netted twice for the winning team while Elig Tamang, Anup Lamsal, Ashish Malla and Sanjiv Rana Magar were also on the score sheet. In another match, St Xavier´s edged past Kathmandu Barsha College 2-0 with goals from Sonam Tamang and George Prince Karki. The event is organized by The British College and managed by A division outfit Laxmi Bank Three Star Club.
