KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Western Region has claimed third position in the Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Second National Men’s Volleyball Tournament defeating Armed Police Force (APF) in a third place play-off on Thursday.
In the match played at Army’s Physical Fitness and Fitness Center, Western Region registered win of 25-22, 22-25, 25-17, 27-29, 15-13 over departmental side.
The final of the tournament will be all departmental clash as Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal Police Club will battle for title on Friday. The winner of the competition will bag a purse of Rs 300,000 while the runner-up will bag Rs 150,000.
