Week-long Saptah begins in Bajgaun

ACHHAM, Nov 4: A week-long Saptah has started at Bajgaun village of Kamalbazzar municipality of Achham district from Friday.

The Saptah was organized with a view to develop Jalpadevi Temple area and Bajgaun village as a pilgrimage site and also to promote the spiritual, religious, cultural aspects of the area and to develop it as a tourist destination. The organizers also informed that they will honor the people who donate property, money and food during the puja. 

Speaking after inaugurating the puja, Nepali Congress general secretary Dr Shashank Koirala said that the implementation of the constitution would be the best way of ending the all kinds of discrimination seen in the society in recent times.

“The constitution will be implemented only after conducting the election at all levels,” he said during the program. 

Some other political leaders from CPN- UML and Nepali Congress were also presented during the function.
