KARNALI, Jan 27: The government employees in the Karnali Provincial are entitled to two types of holidays apart from the ones they are currently enjoying. The civil servants working within the province will be given wedding and tourism holidays.

The provincial government has added these holidays to the list of official holidays. Other holidays being given to civil servants are contingency leave, festive leave, home leave, sick leave, maternity leave, maternity care leave, extraordinary leave and unpaid leave.

The Karnali Province Civil Service Regulations-2080 BS stipulates that the civil employees of the Karnali Province shall receive seven days holidays for marriage and seven days for tourism.
