KATHMANDU, June 12: Most parts of the country will experience partial to moderate cloud cover with light to moderate rain in some places. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), there is a general effect of monsoon winds in Province 1, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and local winds in other provinces.

The DHM has said there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in Province 1, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and some places in Karnali and in some hilly areas of other provinces.

Currently, there is light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Lumbini Province. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at night in most places of Province 1 and Madhesh Province, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali Province and a few places in the hilly terrain of other provinces.

According to the latest report of the Meteorological Forecast Division (MFD), the minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley today is 20.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 29.5 degrees Celsius.
