KATHMANDU, May 31: With the Kathmandu Valley and most parts of the country experiencing cloudy weather and unpredicted rainfall for the past few days, the meteorology forecast division has predicted that the weather will remain cloudy and gloomy throughout the country for the next few days.
According to the division, the weather for the next few days will remain cloudy in the overall eastern region as well as central and western hilly regions. Other parts of the country are likely to experience damp and cloudy weather. “The mornings will continue to be gloomy but the days might be slightly sunny followed by unpredictable rain,” said a meteorologist at the meteorology forecast division. The nights are expected to experience major thunderstorms.
The western mountainous region will remain partly cloudy while the central and eastern regions have chances to experience light snowfall.
According to the meteorological analysis, the weather of most parts in Nepal is currently under the influence of westerly winds.
“The Kathmandu Valley along with other regions of the country is likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied with stormy winds,” the meteorologist warned, adding, “People are highly requested to adopt the necessary safety measures and remain indoors during heavy wind and thunderstorms”.
As per the latest weather bulletin published by the division, the maximum temperature is predicted to be 22 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will hover around 13-14 degrees Celsius.
However, after gloomy weather and active rainfall throughout the week, most parts of the country will see improved weather conditions from the middle of this week.
