KATHMANDU, April 14: The Westerly wind combined with the local wind has general influence in Nepal at present. The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region of the country due to the impact of this weather system and generally fair in the rest of the regions, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said. 

It will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region and partially cloudy in the rest of the regions towards the afternoon today. There are chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the hilly region. 

The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy in the rest of the regions tonight. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at some places of the hilly region.

Light rainfall occurred in Kathmandu this morning. The maximum temperature in Kathmandu was 31.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 17.8 degrees Celsius over the last 24 hours, the Division stated.
