KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, prime minister and chairman of CPN- Maoist Center says that he has taken steps to strengthen internal nationalism which faced the risk of being polarized.
Speaking at the Maoist Center’s Parliamentary Party meeting this morning, Dahal said, “The country was headed for a dreadful polarization.
But the government has addressed the internal nationalism and thus created a strong base for national unity.” Directing his party’s lawmakers to make their roles more effective, he said, “We will remain in the government throughout the three elections.
Therefore , we should ensure that the party plays an important role.” The PM also said that his upcoming India visit will be focused on striking a diplomatic balance between Nepal and India and further consolidating the bilateral ties.
