KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Chairman of the rival faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Madhav Kumar Nepal has maintained that the NCP can still be united if Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is willing to accept his mistakes.
Addressing a protest rally organized by his faction in Kathmandu, leader Nepal said that the rival faction is ready to forget everything if Oli accepts his mistakes.
Nepal also accused Oli of practicing anti-democratic activities by making decisions against the constitution and the general public.
Similarly, Nepal assured that the dissolved parliament will soon be restored. “All the political parties, intellectuals, teachers, students and public are on the streets against the unconstitutional move of the Oli-led government. “The lower house will soon be revived,” he said.
Likewise, in another context, Nepal also compared Oli with former King Gyanendra Shah.
The Dahal-Nepal faction of NCP staged a nation-wide protest against the dissolution of the House of Representative on Tuesday.
