CHITWAN, Nov 25: Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, has said they are committed to work for the welfare of people.
Addressing a function organised by the Office of the Chief Returning Officer to distribute election certificate on Friday, Chairman Lamichhane said that they will work together with other political parties for the welfare of the country and citizens and for people's livelihood.
Lamichhane said that the objective of his party is to support the society and work for the citizens. "Although we are elected from different parties, we are in the same category. I am ready to stand together and cooperate on the issue of people's livelihood," he said.
Stating that his party did not form any alliance with anyone in the elections, Lamichhane said, "We are always open to form an alliance on issues like welfare of the country and citizens."
