CHITWAN, June 17: The Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal has accused the government of rescheduling the elections date in Province 2 without consulting them.
The leaders, however, reiterated that they would not take part in the polls until the number of local levels in Madhes is revised on the basis of population.

Talking to media-persons in Parasi, Nawalparasi before RJPN's scheduled gathering, RJPN leader Rajendra Mahato claimed that no agreement had been reached with the government on rescheduling the polls. "Elections should be organised at one go in the area from Jhapa to Kanchanpur. We won't let the elections take place until 'faults' in the constitution are rectified."
He also accused the government of a plot to divide Madhes. Likewise, saying Madhes issue could not be resolved just by rescheduling the polls, another RJPN leader Mahanta Thakur said environment conducive has not been created for the second round of elections yet. RSS
