Warrant issued against 'study visa' fraudsters

KATHMANDU, Aug 31: Police have issued an arrest warrant against proprietors of IBN Educational Institute Pvt Limited, Putalisadak on the charge of indulging in fraud in the name of sending youths to Britain in ´Study Visa´.



Sushil Babu Syangtan of Sindhuli and Dipak Sharma of Lalitpur had reportedly taken between Rs 300,000 to 500,000 per person and then ran away after shutting down their consultancy office.



An arrest warrant was issued based on a complaint filed against them, police said. yangtan is the son of Maoist CA member Radhadevi Timalsena while Sharma is the son of Thakkar Sharma, the co-in-charge of UCPN (Maoist), Lalitpur.



The duo also run the Crazy Travels and Tours Private Limited at Putalisadak.
