BAITADI , June 29- Two people, including a ward chairman, have been arrested for raping a 28 years old woman from Baitadi on March 21. The alleged perpetrators are ward chairman of Mainali Municipality-1 of the district Sharad Singh Negi and Keshav Singh Negi.
According to Police Inspector Lokraj Joshi, the accused were arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.

According to the District Police Office, an investigation has been started by keeping the two accused in custody. The victim is under the protection of her family. The victim has been sent to the district hospital for medical check-up.
