VP candidate Yadav meets PM Dahal seeking votes

KATHMANDU, March 13: Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, one of the two candidates for the post of Vice President from Janta Samajwadi Party (JSP), has intensified his meetings with top leaders seeking votes for himself.

KATHMANDU, March 13: Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, one of the two candidates for the post of Vice President from Janta Samajwadi Party (JSP), has intensified his meetings with top leaders seeking votes for himself.


Yadav, who is also the leader of the JSP parliamentary party, had a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday morning.

He met the Prime Minister at Singha Durbar and asked for his vote.


Before that, he also met with CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.


Ramsahay Prasad Yadav and Pramila Kumari Yadav of JSP and Mamta Jha of Janmaat Party have filed their candidature from the ruling coalition parties. Ashtalaxmi Shakya has been nominated for the post on behalf of the CPN-UML.
