Voting booth awaits voters at Tinla, Solukhumbu

SOLUKHUMBU, Nov 26: Peaceful voting has begun from early 7:00 today at Solukhumbu. From all 125 polling booths voters are casting their votes said Chief returning officer, Narayan Prasad Subedi.

Number of voters were minimal due to cold in the morning. However, voters are expected to increase in the day, said Chairman Dim Dorje Sherpa of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural municipality.

Voters from Tinla rural municipality haven’t voted so far as protest to express their dissatisfaction with local level restructuring. As of 9am all five booths of Tinla are waiting voters said the office of the Chief Election Officer.
