KATHMANDU, May 17: An agreement has been reached to recount votes for Kirtipur Municipality-2 following the recovery of 10 ballot papers not bearing signatures of election officers during the vote count.
Consultations between representatives of various political parties decided to this effect following a minor dispute over the matter.
Election officer Gajendra Bahadur Singh admitted to faults of election office employees in relation to the recovery of unsigned ballot papers. However, vote count in other wards-3 and 4 is going on, he informed. RSS
