Vote count update: NC maintains lead in Ilam-2

ILAM, April 28: The Nepali Congress (NC) candidate has maintained the lead in the by-election held in Ilam-2.

ILAM, April 28: The Nepali Congress (NC) candidate has maintained the lead in the by-election held in Ilam-2.


NC candidate Dambar Khadka is taking the slight lead in the vote count with 1,658 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nembang has received 1,630 votes.

Similarly, independent  candidate Dakendra Thegim is a distant third with 430 votes while Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Milan Limbu has secured 308 votes.
