KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Nepal Volleyball Association on Saturday organized Youth Volleyball Festival 2016 in Manamaiju, Kathmandu with the view to promote volleyball at the school level.

The festival organized at Angels' Heart School saw participation of 192 students from 32 schools.

Former national captain Bharat Shah, women's national team member Kopila Uprety, Kamala Pun among others took part in the festival.

According to Nepal Volleyball Association, such festivals will be vital to encourage and attract young school players toward the game.

The festival was organized as part of annual calendar of Nepal Volleyball Association.
