KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has left for a six-day visit to China.
As per a release from Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pun will be leading a delegation to attend the 17th Western China International Fair in Chengdu, in Sichuan Province.
Pun will be accompanied by his spouse Hastmali Pun. Other accompanying members are Jivan Acharya, Advisor to the Vice President, Ram Kumar Acharya, Secretary at Office of the Vice President, Ambassador of Nepal to China and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, Pun is scheduled to address the opening ceremony of the 17th Western China International Fair on September 20. He will also deliver a keynote speech in the Belt and Road Cooperation Development Conference on Business Community of Shared Future on the same day.
Pun is also scheduled to meet senior Chinese leaders in Chengdu and visit Yibin city and Lizhuang Ancient Town of Sichuan Province. He will return to Nepal on September 24.
