Vice-President Yadav leaving for China today

KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Vice-President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav is traveling to China on Monday afternoon for a six-day visit.

KATHMANDU, Aug 14: Vice-President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav is traveling to China on Monday afternoon for a six-day visit.


VP Yadav is going to attend the 7th China South Asia Exposition and 27th China Kunming Import and Export Fair, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

Yadav will lead a Nepali delegation to the fair to be held in Kunming from August 16 to 20. 


The Vice-President will board a plane to China from the Tribhuvan International Airport at 4:00 pm, said Sudhir Bhattarai, Chief of Protocol of MoFA.


Yadav will be accompanied by his spouse Champadevi Yadav, Secretary at the Office of Vice-President Madhusudan Burlakoti, personal secretary of the VP Satrudhan Yadav, personal doctor Bikram Silwal and two security personnel, it was said.
