KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Vice-President of the Philippines, Maria Leonor Gerona Robredo, who is here to participate in the Asia Pacific Summit-2018, met with Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun at Bahadur Bhawan on Friday.
During the meeting, they discussed various matters as the relations between the two countries and the mutual collaboration, said Vice-President Pun's Press Coordinator Manoj Gharti.
On the occasion, Vice-President Pun said the Philippines is a close friend of Nepal, adding that Nepal and Philippines are celebrating their 60-years of establishment of diplomatic relations soon.
He said that Nepal has moved towards the path of economic prosperity by establishing political stability. The Vice-President urged the people of Philippines to visit Nepal on the occasion of Visit Nepal-2020.
Similarly, Vice-President of the Philippines, Robredo, said the relations between Nepal and Philippines would be further strengthened in the days ahead. There are many similarities between the both countries, she added.
