KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Gathering of more than 25 people have been banned in public places to prevent and control the growing coronavirus infection in the Kathmandu Valley. The decision was taken by a meeting of the chief district officers of all the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley this afternoon.
On Monday, the home ministry wrote a letter to the district administration offices, instructing them to implement a rule that would not allow more than 25 people to gather in public places. Similarly, the district administration offices in the Valley were instructed to stop any gathering, procession and other crowded activities.
Similarly, The COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) on Sunday recommended carrying vaccination cards mandatory for anyone entering offices, hotels, restaurants, cinema halls, stadia, parks and airports. The recommendation was approved by a ministerial meeting on Monday.
