KATHMANDU, April 29: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the new rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 135.76 and the selling rate is Rs 136.36, marking a depreciation from yesterday’s rate. On Monday, the buying rate for one US dollar stood at Rs 136.43 and the selling rate at Rs 137.03.
Similarly, the buying rate for one euro is Rs 154.01, and the selling rate is Rs 154.69; the buying rate for one UK pound sterling is Rs 181.05, and the selling rate is Rs 181.85; And the buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 163.41, and the selling rate is Rs 164.13.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 86.83, and the selling rate is Rs 87.21; the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is Rs 97.86, and the selling rate is Rs 98.30; and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 103.30, and the selling rate is Rs 103.75, according to Nepal Rastra Bank.

Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.46 and the selling rate is Rs 9.50; the buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 18.60 and the selling rate is Rs 18.68; the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.19 and the selling rate is Rs 36.35; and the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 37.25 and the selling rate is Rs 37.41.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.04 and the selling rate is Rs 4.05; the buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 36.96 and the selling rate is Rs 37.12; and the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 31.12 and the selling rate is Rs 31.25.
Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.40, and the selling rate is Rs 9.44; the buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 14.00, and the selling rate is Rs 14.07; and the buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 20.63, and the selling rate is Rs 20.72.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.50 and the selling rate at Rs 17.58; the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 442.52 and the selling rate at Rs 444.47; the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at Rs 360.14 and the selling rate at Rs 361.74; and the buying rate for one Omani riyal at Rs 352.62 and the selling rate at Rs 354.18.
Similarly, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates can be revised at any time as necessary. It has also been mentioned that the rates set by commercial banks may differ based on the open market and that the updated rates will be available on the central bank's website.
