CHARIKOT, Jan 29: A Chinese engineer hired from the under-construction Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project died after being hit by a falling rock at around 11:00 am on Monday.
The 49-year-old Sun Ling Long working as the side engineer for the project was severely wounded after he was struck by a rock fell from the above all of a sudden .

He later died on the way to a hospital, according District Police Office, Dolakha's Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwor Karki. The incident happened while he was on duty at the project's dam side located at Bigu Rural Municipality-1, Dolakha.
