UPF Nepal signs MOU with its American counterpart

KATHMANDU, May 22: Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UPF USA in New York on Sunday to strengthen friendship, promote exchanges, share knowledge and cooperation between the two chapters of the federation. 

UPF Nepal's President Ek Nath Dhakal and UPF USA Chairman Dr Michael Jenkins signed the agreement at UPF USA's office in New York, USA, reads a press statement issued by UPF Nepal.

UPF is an international and inter-religious network of individuals and organizations, including representatives from diverse sectors dedicated to achieving world peace. UPF Nepal said that the federation supports and promotes the work of the United Nations for achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

“The MOU will bring people of the two friendly nations, Nepal and USA, closer for mutual benefit,” the statement quoted Santosh Paudel, vice president of UPF Nepal as saying.
