KATHMANDU, Dec 31: International flights from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have resumed.

After the visibility dropped to 100 meters, both domestic and international flights could not be operated at the TIA on Friday. According to the airport, international flights from Kathmandu have taken off after being delayed since this morning.

Most of the flights scheduled for the morning were halted citing adverse weather. Some flights to Kathmandu had to wait in the sky as they could not make landings due to poor visibility.

“Delayed flights have started taking off from the airport as the weather started to improve,” said an employee at the airport.
