CHITWAN, Nov 29: Six people were killed and 18 others sustained injuries when a passenger bus plunged 1000 meters into the Trishuli River, SP Dipak Thapa, chief at Chitwan Police Office said.
The passenger bus, Lu 2 Kha 291, was heading to Arghakhanchi from Kathmandu when it collided with a truck and plunged into the river at around 8:45 am.

Two are women among those deceased. Twenty three people have been injured so far. Of them, five have been taken to Kathmandu and the remaining 18 have been taken to Bharatpur Hospital.
As the bus is submerged completely, further details are yet to arrive.
