Unseasonal rain damages crops worth Rs 70 million

RUPANDEHI, Feb 28: The recent unseasonal rain coupled with hailstorm damaged crops worth over Rs 70 million in Rupandehi district.

According to the District Agriculture Development Office, the hailstorm caused heavy damage to the wheat, mustard, potato, maize crops and vegetables farming.The office said that Tilottam and Devdaha municipalities and eight VDCs in the district were badly affected due to the hailstorm. RSS
