At a programme organized by Nepal University Teachers' Association here today, Minister Pokharel shared that the Bills relating to Higher Education, Technical and Vocational Education were forwarded to the Council of Ministers for discussion in principles on them. Similarly, Tribhuvan University (TU)'s Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Dharmakanta Banskota called for cooperation from all quarters to develop the oldest university in the country, TU, as a place for acquiring knowledge and conducting research. The Association had elected its new executive committee on November 16 this year. Minister Pokharel today handed over certificates to the newly elected members including its President Prof Dr Buddha Bahadur Thapa Chhettri, Vice-President Dr Ramesh Kumar Joshi and members as Bhuma Sharma Pandey among others.
