SALYAN, Nov 24: CPN (Unified Socialist) candidate Prakash Jwala has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Salyan.
He defeated independent candidate Rajendra Bahadur Shah with a whopping margin of 15,911 votes. He received 35,700 votes while Shah got 19,789. Jwala contested the election from the ruling alliance.
