BAJHANG, Nov 24: CPN (Unified Socialist)'s Bhanu Bhakta Joshi has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Bajhang. He got 28,143 votes while his nearest rival CPN-UML's Ain Bahadur Mahar 27,145.
He contested from the democratic-left alliance. Similarly, under the Province Assembly (1), Nepali Congress's Prithivi Bahadur Singh has secured victory. He received 17,113 votes while his closest rival UML's Aphilal Okheda 13,336.
