Unified Socialist holding meeting to discuss MCC

KATHMANDU, Feb 27: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has called a secretariat meeting of the party to further discuss the issue of the ratification of US assistance Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement.

The CPN (Maoist) has called a secretariat meeting after the ruling coalition agreed to ratify the MCC with an "explanatory declaration".

The meeting which will be held at 11 AM, two hours before the House of Representatives meeting will decide whether to stand in favor of the MCC project or to vote against it.
