KATHMANDU, April 2: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale has said that the Communist party in Nepal has been divided into three parts due to the inability of the person leading the party.

Speaking at the Morang Trade Association Ted Expo organized by the Morang Trade Association in Biratnagar-2 to promote indigenous products, Minister Ale said that the party that had received two-thirds majority seats in parliament has been divided into three parts due to the inability of leaders. “The local level election on May 13 will show them the consequences of splitting the party,” said Minister Ale.

Minister Ale said that the communist party, which had won 70 percent of the seats, has been divided into the UML, the CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist), due to the inability of the party leaders to reconcile their differences.
