KATHMANDU, Oct. 6: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Kamal Thapa has said that unification of RPP with other parties having similar background to RPP will take place soon.
At a greetings exchange programme on the occasion of the upcoming festivals organized in the party’s central office today, Thapa said formal and non-formal talks with different parties were on to this end. On the occasion, Thapa voiced against the government decision to slash the public holiday given since time immemorial on the occasion of Ghatasthapa, the first day of Navadurga.
RPP secretary general Bhaskar Bhadra, RPP leaders Balaram Ghartimagar and Bikram Bahadur Thapa and others stressed the need to protecting our ancient traditions and cultures.
