Unidentified gunmen fire bullets on Maoist cadre Khan in Siraha

SIRAHA, Feb 12. Unidentified gunmen fired bullets on CPN (Maoist Center) cadre Lalu Khan in Malhaniya-2, Siraha on Sunday morning.

According to DSP Gajur Siddhi Bajracharya at Area Police Office in Mirchaiya, a group of five individuals riding on three motor bikes had fired four bullets on Khan when he was riding motorbike with number plate of NA 34 PA 1334.

According to DSP Bajracharya, Khan has sustained injuries on head and hip as two bullets hit him. Khan is being treated at Mangalam Hospital in Mirchaiya.  "We have deployed teams for searching the shooters," said Bajracharya.

Khan, a resident of Majhariya 4, Siraha, is affiliated to Young Communist League, the sister wing of the Maoist Center.
