POKHARA, Nov 25: An unidentified group has detonated a bomb targeting a car parked on the premises of the residence of a local representative in Pokhara on Monday morning.
The blast took place at around 2 am on the premises of the Himalitol-based residence of Shiva Prasad Acharya, the ward chair of Pokhara Metropolitan City-33.
The vehicle Hilux SUV (Ga 2 Cha 426) was destroyed due to the blast, chief of the Gandaki State Police Office, Binod Sharma Ghimire, who reached the incident site, said.
The explosion has also affected a nearby house. Police have launched a probe into the incident.
