KATHMANDU, May 16: CPN-UML Bidya Sundar Shakya has taken lead in the mayor post of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Shakya garnered 243 votes while Sajha Party candidate Kishor Thapa received 169 votes so far. Nepali Congress candidate Raju Raj Joshi got 153 votes so far while Ranju Darshana of Bibeksheel Nepali received 120 votes so far.
