UML wins election in Makwanpur Gadhi Rural Municipality

HETAUDA, May 17: CPN-UML candidates for chief and deputy chief of Makwanpur Gadhi Rural Municipality in Makwanpur district have won the election defeating their closest rivals.

HETAUDA, May 17: CPN-UML candidates for chief and deputy chief of Makwanpur Gadhi Rural Municipality in Makwanpur district have won the election defeating their closest rivals.


Bidur Humagain and Harka Maya Rumba have won the race for chief  and deputy chief respectively.

Humagain garnered 3814 votes whereas his closest rival Nepali Congress candidate Dorje Lama received 3653 votes.


Likewise, Rumba obtained 3717 votes, compared to 3707 votes for her closest rival Nepali Congress candidate Mandira KC.
